About Me

Over the past decade, I have endeavored to put my best efforts forward in the video editing business. I take opportunities to gain experience with all forms of media. I know the best way to move up in this industry is to edit everything I possibly can.

Since June 2022, I have worked at five-time Emmy Award-winning Bread N Butter Content Studio as a TV Show Editor. It is the leading entertainment media business in Atlanta through restaurant-focused video production. One part Emmy-award winning television program, a splash of highly interactive, video-driven web content, topped with a touch of social media conversation. Hosted by Steak Shapiro, “Atlanta Eats” cooks up a hearty combination of dining dishes, featuring high-end restaurants, hidden gems, and anything new or noteworthy in the Atlanta food and dining world. I have edited 96 hour-long episodes of the show. My job consists of editing several video segments for our TV show on The CW and making commercial and internal content for several clients such as Delta Air Lines, Emory Healthcare, and Hooters. This job has allowed me to really hone my skills in a professional environment in video editing by learning other Adobe programs like Photoshop and After Effects and dealing with legitimate clients. I’m well known at my company for being extremely organized, efficient, and fast at editing videos.

I have experience editing diverse categories of videos. I started working in June 2024 as an editor for David Rule’s YouTube channel. This long-form narrative style/vlog content is my favorite kind of content to edit and to watch. It represents my editing skills well and my love for YouTube content over any other medium. The handheld, first-person point of view production is becoming more popular, and I can’t wait to edit every kind of video in that category. David Rule’s videos consist of traveling the world and building some of the most whimsical, living structures you’ve ever seen, similar to that of Ryan Trahan. Check out the “I Built an Alaskan Survival Cabin” video in my portfolio for a great example of that.

In college, I worked for a European scarf company called By Biehle as their Content Manager editing in-depth videos of their materials and fabrics. I worked at a startup tech company in Atlanta called UpLo Daily. Through UpLo, I made short videos highlighting entrepreneurs’ career paths. I worked for my college newspaper, The Red & Black Publishing Company, for two years editing videos about the exciting, southern, college town of Athens, Georgia. I also completed an internship for The Gwinnett Daily Post newspaper as a Sports Video Intern in the summer of 2021 crafting narrative videos about the NFL, NASCAR, PGA, and high school athletes. This internship gave me a lot more confidence in my interviewing, editing, and management skills as I was in charge of the whole operation of making videos from start to finish all on my own. I worked at The College Food Guide as a Creative Producer making videos about the top 10 unique restaurants in Athens. I also produced, directed, and edited my own short film, “Take It To Your Grave” in 2022. I have filmed, edited, and photographed fundraising events for a nonprofit, Camp Kesem at UGA, created advertising campaigns for small businesses and motivational speakers, and made a video for my private high school to help get its SACS Accreditation. I have taken every opportunity I can to edit a video.

It is important for me to stay involved in the media industry, build relationships, and always try new things. There is a never-ending list of videos to film and edit, and I want to be apart of them all. My love for the movie industry helps me add onto my editing skills and inspires me to tackle new genres of work. This portfolio holds all my work from different branches. Spreading joy with creative entertainment is my favorite thing to do!
