The Red & Black Publishing Company

The Red & Black student-run newsroom covers the University of Georgia and Athens, with daily reporting on news, sports, arts, culture and more at redandblack.com and a weekly newspaper that is the largest college paper in Georgia.

I worked for The Red & Black Publishing Company in Athens, Georgia for two years completing 24 videos. My job as a Staff Videographer was to go out into the city, find a story, interview somebody, and film b-roll surrounding that event. Sometimes a writer would collaborate with me by writing a story matching my video. After I collected these things, I would edit a two-minute video covering the story. These events spanned across several areas including artistry work, historic exhibits, aerial arts facilities, engineering clubs, and the UGA Homecoming parade.
